Announces Slate of New Artist Signings
Kin Kou Records sees the godfather of New Age, Swiss artist
Andreas Vollenweider, as the first artist to launch this
freshly-hatched New Age imprint. Along with the first
release“Magic Harp”, due out June 14, Kin
Kou has plans for a yearlong rollout of his entire catalog
in addition to another new album release.
Following shortly behind on Savoy Jazz Records is Brazilian
superstar Milton Nascimento, who brings with him his latest
release, “Pièta”, out July 26. The
Rio native has long been considered a pioneer in the Latin,
Jazz and World music genres. In addition, the release
of "Pieta" precedes Milton's first North American
tour in 10 years.
SLG’s Adult Alternative imprint 429 Records is proud
to announce the addition of Irish-American outfit Saucy
Monky. Co-fronted by singer-songwriters Anne-Marie Cullen
of Ireland and Cynthia Catania of New Jersey, Saucy Monky
will release their latest album, “Turbulence”
on 429 Records. Already a hit in Anne Marie’s native
Ireland, the 429 release of “Turbulence” hits
American stores June 14. |
